CPS Recruitment is recruiting for Patient Service Representative roles in a variety of medical office settings. If you’re hard working, interested in healthcare, and enjoy assisting others, this is the job for you!

Compensation for these roles is $17.00 - $23.00/hr, depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm       

Locations: Openings available in Camillus and Syracuse, NY    

Responsibilities of a Patient Service Representative:

• Answering and triaging busy phone lines in a calm, professional, and friendly manner
• Checking in patients for their appointments including verifying insurance information
• Scheduling patients based on provider availability
• Documenting records in electronic medical record systems
• Assisting with new patient referrals
• Other duties as assigned

Background Profile of a Patient Service Representative:

• High School Diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree preferred
• 1+ year previous administrative/office experience
• 1+ year previous healthcare
• Strong communication skills on the phone, via email, and in person
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
