Your Responsibilities:
As a Patient Services Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You’ll work directly in our service center to:
- Coordinate and schedule ambulatory outpatient visits for assigned departments.
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
- Communicate patient liabilities and collect clinical information for scheduling inquiries.
- Explain patient preparation requirements and coordinate with clinical departments regarding protocols.
- Address non-scheduling requests or accurately transfer patients to the appropriate department.
Position Details:
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: Day shift, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Location: Fairhaven, MA
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous call center experience is preferred. Strong computer and organizational skills are essential. Experience with electronic health records is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to multitask, strong communication skills, and a genuine service-oriented attitude.
Requirements to Start:
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and seasonal influenza (documentation required unless approved for exemption).
- T-spot or negative TB test.
- MMR, Varicella, and HepB vaccination or proof of immunity.
- A 10-panel urine drug test (excluding marijuana).
- Background check (including MA CORI and any other states lived in the past 7 years).
Must-Check Boxes:
- Vaccinations: Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza (current season).
- Reliability: Please confirm no planned days off in the next 90 days.
- Transportation: Confirm how you plan to commute reliably to work every day.
