Position Summary
Practice patient service representative proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments.
Position Requirements
+ _Education and Previous Experience_
+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
+ _Hardware/Software Experience_
+ Practice management/medical billing computer programs.
+ Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)
+ _Other Characteristics_
+ Excellent oral/written communication skills
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Detailed oriented
+ Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections)
+ Flexible; able to adapt to change
+ Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus
40 Hours per Week: Shifts will be during the following times: 7:45am-5:30pm (4 days a week), 10:00am-7:15pm (1 day a week), 1 Saturday per month 7:45am-12:15pm
This position may support RUSH Pediatrics Aurora, RUSH Pediatrics Aurora Ridge, & RUSH Pediatrics & Family Medicine - Oswego.
