Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00 PM 

Location: 13000 N Meridian St Ste 101 Carmel, IN 46032

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answering up to 60-80 phone calls a day
• Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information

• Perform insurance verification on the date of service

• File and maintain medical records such as scanning and updating into patient charts/records 

• Confirms and schedule appointments

• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously

• Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service

• Perform referral documentation promptly

• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience including data entry 

• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with EMR computer applications

• Working knowledge of medical terminology

• Working knowledge of general office procedures
