Pay rate: $18.81 - $25.36
Shift: Monday through Friday

As a part of Uptown Community Health Center, Bruner Family Medicine sees patients of all ages and backgrounds. As the main clinic for a Residency program we have over 30 different Providers. We have 4 specialty clinics within Bruner that are ran by our Faculty.
As a Patient Service Representative (PSR) you play a vital role in our operations by providing excellent customer service to our current and future patients. With a smile and a friendly attitude, you greet patients and register them for their visit. You handle emails and phone calls, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and gathering information. With close attention to detail, you are always sure to record any necessary notes in our patients' electronic health record. Additionally, you perform health insurance verification as well as take and record copay transactions. You love working with people and doing your part to ensure the best possible healthcare experience for our patients!
- Greets and introduces themselves to patients in a prompt and pleasant manner
- Performs any screening procedures as directed.
- Registers patients efficiently and accurately; verifies and records necessary demographic information; verifies insurance and method of payment; and collects fees and co-payments.
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Preferred:
*Two (2) years experience in integrated healthcare or primary care.
*Experience with Epic application and heath record.
* Experience working with and sensitivity toward special populations, including those with limited income, limited education, and non-English speaking individuals.
*Bilingual English / Spanish, complete comprehension, literacy and fluency in both languages
