Team1Medical is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to join their Northwest Houston team and will be responsible for coordinating appointment schedules, counseling patients on treatment options available to them, and assessing benefits or insurance plans. Patient Service Coordinator’s Responsibilities
- Schedule patient visits and answer questions, including billing and preparation.
- Develop and coordinate healthcare programs.
- Communicate between staff, patients, and their families.
- Handle patient case management and education.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and quality care.
Patient Service Coordinator’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Preview work experience in a clinical setting is highly recommended but not required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly recommended.
- Essential knowledge of medical terminology is not required but highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, customer service, and counseling skills are required.
