Job Title: Patient Scheduler
Location: San Antonio, TX
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30a-5p
Compensation: $19 - $20 per hour (based on experience)

Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Scheduler to join our team, responsible for coordinating patient appointments and tests, managing incoming calls, and supporting efficient communication between patients and medical staff. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to our compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule new and returning patient appointments, tests, and procedures following physician guidelines.
• Manage incoming calls, addressing patient needs and directing calls to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of physician schedules, including on-call duties, vacations, and meetings.
• Organize patient referrals and pre-certifications, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded.
• Collect payments at time of visit and assist patients with financial counseling as needed.
• Document no-shows and follow up with patients to reschedule missed appointments.
• Support front office operations, covering other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of office experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
