Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze patient safety data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop and implement safety initiatives to reduce medical errors and adverse outcomes.

• Conduct comprehensive training programs to educate staff on best practices in patient safety.

• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Collaborate with hospital leaders to integrate safety goals into organizational priorities.

• Promote a culture of safety that emphasizes transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital experience.

• California Safety Card for Fire and Life to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Preferred:

• Masters Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field.

• Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).

• At least 2 years of patient safety experience.
