Job Overview:
As a Patient Communications Center Representative, you'll play a vital role in our mission. You will serve as an Ambassador for our organization, delivering high-quality customer service to our patients with kindness, effective communication, advocacy, and follow-through. Acting as the first point of contact telephonically, you'll handle matters related to patient care and scheduling, ensuring seamless communication between patients and our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and efficient customer service, ensuring patients feel respected and heard.
Act as a liaison between patients and clinical teams, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication.
Verify patient demographics to maintain accurate records in all appropriate formats.
Schedule appointments accurately following established protocols and guidelines.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of our organization's practices, providers, and processes to address patient inquiries and streamline processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for enhancing the patient experience.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent educational certification required.
Three years of experience in providing high-level customer service, preferably in a medical office setting.
Strong IT/Technology skills.
Completion of a Medical Terminology course within one year of hire.
Experience in a large Call Center environment is a plus.
