Patient Care Technician I(PCT), Full Time, AMG Pediatric Surgery Morristown - Atlantic Health System

Responsible for assisting doctors/nursing staff in ensuring that the basic needs of each patient are met. Daily tasks might include things like feeding and cleaning the patient or monitoring vital signs and health. 


Principal Accountabilities:


1. Support physicians 
2. Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights 
3. Work as a team with co-workers, will be cross trained in various responsibilities
4. Obtain test, medication and surgery insurance authorizations
5. Will be trained in Surgery Scheduling 
6. Answer patient calls, direct appropriately, schedule appointments
7. Maintain and order supplies
8. Other related duties as assigned.
