Primary Responsibilities:

• Welcoming patients and visitors

• Checking in and out patients and taking co-payments

• Scheduling and maintaining patient appointments

• Maintain heavy call volume

• Filling out forms

• Verifying and scanning patient insurance

• Generating referrals

• Filing and pulling charts

• Confirm patient appointments for the next day

• Queue prescriptions for Dr. approval

• Perform other job related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or higher)

• 1+ year of customer service experience in an office setting

• Ability to work Wednesday 8:30am - 6:30pm, Thursday & Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 8:00-4:00pm, Sunday 8:30-12:00

Soft Skills: 

• Ability to multi-task

• Strong customer service skills

New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.00 to $27.31 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
