About the Job
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and assisting with a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth patient flow. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule (days/hours):m-f hours vary- will get hours once interview / 36 HoursResponsibilities:- Greet patients and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance verification and billing.
- Collect and update patient medical history and other required documentation.
- Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate, complete, and confidential.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients, offering assistance and information.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and financial responsibilities.
- Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and assist patients with financing options.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure patients receive timely care.
- Assist with office organization, including maintaining a clean and professional environment.
- Assist with other administrative duties as required, including handling correspondence and filing.
- At least one year related experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting
