*Now hiring RN and LPN students for PRN floating positions to work at various FPG offices in the Sarasota and Venice areas.  

 

The Patient Care Assistant is responsible for triaging a patient and completing point of care testing (Primary Care & Pediatric patient populations).

Required Qualifications:

- Require one of the following:

 

1.) Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); Paramedic, or a military corpsman; or National licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); which must be maintained active during employment;

 

2. Currently be enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing (RN/LPN);

• Have completed the first semester of clinical for ASN degree, completion of third semester for a BSN degree, or completion of first trimester for LPN and
• Cannot be currently licensed in the U.S. as a RN or LPN.

 

- Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prefer working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Mandatory Education:

HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Required License and Certs:

- Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date (Must be through American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Work Days/Shift/Start Time:

*Per diem shifts

*Monday - Friday

*No weekends or Holidays

 

PRN pay rate is set at $17.25/hr
