Patient Access Manager at SourceOwls, LLC

Our client is seeking an experienced Patient Access Manager! 

Candidate Must have:

• Must have experience within Acute ER experience with high volume, high bed count

• Must have managerial experience

• Must have 3 years experience as a Patient Access Manager in an Acute ER setting

• must have experience with a facility with a ER room.This client has 1,000 beds with over 50 employees

What will you do?

As the Patient Access Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in daily operations of all Patient Access functions and serve as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility. You will be responsible for managing frontline registration staff in successfully registering patients, managing upfront cash collections, providing great customer services, running insurance verifications and managing and resolving patient complaints. Tracking and meeting 10+ key performance indicators

• Responsible for the Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with the patient and ensure staff are adhering to the patient experience expectations.
• Responsible for ensuring QA on registrations for all areas of Registration.
• Perform patient registration functions when needed to ensure wait times are kept to a minimum.
• Follow-up on patient complaints promptly.
• Supervise and maintain the productivity of employees.
• Responsible for Dept. Operations Report, FTEs and Operating budgets.
• Responsible for conducting monthly staff meetings and in-services for all responsible areas.
• Assume on-call responsibilities to ensure adequate staff and problem solving

What will you need?

• Bachelors Degree in Business or related field required
• Minimum three years experience in Patient Access in an acute care setting
• WILL CONSIDER CLINICAL MANAGERS/ PRACTICE MANAGERS W/ AT LEAST 2 YRS
