About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patent Prosecution Associate/Of Counsel to join an AML 200 firm's Intellectual Property Group in their New York office. As a Patent Prosecution Associate/Of Counsel, you will prepare and prosecute patent applications, conduct patent landscape analysis IP due diligence, and mentor junior patent agents. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal and writing abilities.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must have at least 5+ years of biotechnology experience, strong academic credentials, an advanced degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, or chemistry, and admission to the Patent Bar. The candidate must also possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, research, analysis, and writing skills and should be comfortable with client interactions, opposing counsel, and courts.
The firm offers a competitive salary ranging from $345,000 to $415,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
