About the Job
Beacon Hill Legal is looking for an experienced Patent Paralegal to join the Lansing office of one of Michigan's top business law firms. The Paralegal will support the firm's IP attorneys with a variety of US and foreign patent prosecution matters. The firm offers a hybrid work schedule. Duties include, but aren't limited to:
- Preparing various patent prosecution documents with the USPTO or foreign counsel;
- Coordinating filings with the USPTO and other foreign entities;
- Maintaining a docket of due dates for renewals, oppositions, annuity payments, etc.;
- Preparing correspondence to clients and foreign associates;
- Responding to requests and correspondence from clients and foreign associates;
- Conducting research regarding national and international patent rights;
- And more!
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with patent prosecution;
- Proficiency with the USPTO;
- Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
