Job Details
Currently they are in growth mode and looking to add a couple more Attorneys and support staff to assist with their consistent case load.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, preparing, and reviewing patent applications
- Conducting examiner interviews
- Drafting, preparing, and reviewing trademark applications
- Preparing litigation documents and supporting litigation as needed, including for IPR proceedings
- Reviewing and preparing licensing documents
- Communicating with foreign counsel as needed and reviewing and revising received documents
- Completing consultation calls and engaging in meetings with prospective clients
- Participating in team meetings and client consultations
- Performing patentability analysis, infringement analysis, invalidity analysis, and patent due diligence
- Utilizing internal software systems to manage projects and workload
- Managing docket, meeting deadlines, and producing results
- Assisting with domestic and international business development
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of patent prosecution experience at U.S. law firms
- USPTO examiner experience is preferred
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
