Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the operations of the survey crew, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Conduct land and boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices during site development and land development projects.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members.
- Prepare and maintain detailed field notes, sketches, and reports.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and analyze data.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to design and implement site development plans.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Regularly communicate project status, issues, and updates to management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Land Surveying, Environmental Engineering, Site Development, and Land Development.
- Professional Surveyor License preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles and practices, environmental regulations, and site development processes.
- Proficient in using surveying equipment and software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
