The Parts Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Corrigo, our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). They will be responsible for entering dates, serial numbers, costs and budgets into Corrigo, finding and loading equipment and parts manuals into Dropbox, managing data in Smartsheet and other systems. Maintaining parts, assigning bar codes and cataloging will be required. This includes working with internal customers (Facilities Technicians, Operations, Finance, Distribution Center) as well as external customers (new and existing third-party vendors) via phone and email. Overall coordination of all work done by the Facilities team is crucial to the smooth operations of restaurants which is the primary goal of the Facilities Coordinator.
- Asset Management. Responsible for creating and maintaining asset and equipment details for new and existing locations.
- Sources parts
- Order parts for restaurants and labels for assets
- Receives parts at the Distribution Center
- Keep assets up to date.
- Completes a full inventory on a quarterly basis
- Maintains inventory and parts labels at off-site locations
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable to maintain a current list of assets.
- Match old parts with equipment models to determine which are current and which should be dispositioned.
- Project Staging. Stage parts for projects to include all pieces needed for installation.
- Equipment Manuals. Find and maintain equipment manuals from manufacturers to be available to the Facilities and Operations teams.
- Parts Delivery. Deliver parts to a maintenance technician on-site at a restaurant or pick up from a vendor if delivery is not available in the required timeframe.
- Parts Maintenance. Clean and maintain oven racks and other parts brought into the Distribution Center so they are ready for use in a restaurant.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, First Shift, Full Time
Location: Biscuitville Distribution Center, Burlington
Pay Range: $18/hour to $21/hour
Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education Required
- Experience with Corrigo (software system) strongly preferred
- 1+ years in facilities project management
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work near cleaning chemicals
- Existing working knowledge of facilities or maintenance terminology and business processes (automotive, HVAC or mechanical settings)
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with project management software (SmartSheet preferred)
- Ability to show strong critical thinking to execute successful projects
- Diverse experience in multiple functions given small team
- Effective communicator
- Strong interpersonal and situational leadership skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
