THE JOB:The Outside Sales Parts & Service Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction by selling parts and services to clients within an assigned territory. This role is based in Shreveport, Louisiana, and focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting the marketing of new products.
- Generate and service customer accounts to meet sales goals and maximize profitability
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, production, and purchasing teams to oversee project development and delivery
- Manage project costs, materials lists, and delivery schedules to meet specifications
- Prepare and submit bid specifications and negotiate contracts with customers
- Troubleshoot customer issues, ensuring prompt resolutions
- Facilitate equipment installation and address any product-related issues
- 2+ years of experience in the trucking field related to parts and service sales
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to build lasting customer relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Oracle experience is a plus
- Ability to prepare clear and concise presentations following pricing guidelines
- Year 1 Income: $85-100K (includes salary, ramp-up income, car allowance, and commissions)
- Year 2 Income: $120k+
- Year 3 Income: $150k+
