Bluewater of South Florida is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Parts Runner / Mechanic Assistant to support our field mechanics and jobsite teams. This role involves picking up and delivering parts, assisting with on-site repairs, and learning directly from experienced field mechanics. As a key part of the team, you'll help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our construction equipment while contributing to our success in site development and underground utility projects.

- Parts Delivery: Pick up and deliver parts and materials for field mechanics and on-site teams.
- Trailer Towing: Safely pull and tow trailers as required for deliveries and equipment transport.
- Maintenance Assistance: Support field mechanics by assisting with repairs, such as changing tires, oil, and filters.
- On-Site Learning: Work alongside experienced field mechanics to develop mechanical skills and gain hands-on experience.
- Logistics Coordination: Stay on top of mechanics' needs, ensuring timely delivery of parts and tools to job sites.
- Lifting & Handling: Safely lift and transport items weighing 50 lbs or more.
- Shop Support: Start the day at the shop, preparing work vans for daily tasks.
- Experience: Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance (tire changes, oil, and filter replacements).
- Driver's Skills: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pull/tow trailers safely.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and work in various outdoor conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and organized in fulfilling job requirements.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with mechanics and jobsite teams to meet deadlines.
