Location : Chicago, IL (60639)
Pay : $24-$28/hour (flexible for highly experienced candidates)
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM (potential for extended hours and some Saturdays in the future)

A long-established leader in commercial laundry systems is seeking a Parts Room Specialist to support its operations and service teams. What You’ll Do :

• Oversee the parts room, managing inventory and ensuring accurate organization.
• Assist customers over the phone with troubleshooting, diagnosing equipment issues, and identifying replacement parts.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics to provide technical support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve parts-related concerns efficiently.
• Use ERP software to track parts and manage orders (familiarity with Epicor ERP is a plus).

What We’re Looking For :

• Must-Haves :

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role or a mechanically inclined position in manufacturing, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical assembly and part functionality.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote diagnostics and support.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

• Nice-to-Haves :

  • Experience working with OEMs or companies managing a large inventory of parts.
  • Hands-on experience with phone-based troubleshooting or remote maintenance.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Epicor ERP.
