Parts Order Entry Specialist - Come bew a part of a dynamic and growing team!
Position Description: Provide excellent customer service by working with both internal and external customers, generating accurate parts quotes, and delivering requested documentation in a timely manner. Provide proactive communication and customer contact as necessary to ensure that high-value solutions are provided to meet the customer's equipment requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with parts and documentation needs.
- Identify customer's parts needs and quote an accurate solution.
- Elevate technical issues to the technical team.
- Periodically update parts costing to achieve accurate sales margins.
- Provide phone support from office and/or current location.
- Support Field Service Technicians with needed parts or drawings.
- Participate in Service meetings and provide constructive input.
- Accurately communicate and discuss problems with customers.
- Provide feedback to management, engineering, assembly, and sales based on customer feedback.
- Actively pursue and develop positive, long-term customer relationships by providing the highest level of customer service and by projecting a positive company image.
- Work with management to achieve department goals as they pertain to meeting product quality, project schedule and corporate financial objectives.
- Work with all other team members to maintain a positive, enjoyable work environment.
Requirements:
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Well-developed organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and work accuracy.
- Microsoft Office literate
- Experience working with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
- High School education, technical training, and 2 to 4 years of related experience.
