Bobcat of Atlanta - Kennesaw is a full-service Bobcat Dealership. We specialize in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, and track loaders. Bobcat of Atlanta offers parts as well as both mobile and shop service.

Bobcat of Atlanta - Kennesaw is seeking a Parts Manager to join our team! The Parts Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and inventory control of the Parts Department. This position provides support to customers, service department, and branch location. Responsibilities

• Ability to lead the Parts & Supply Department and manage team of employees.
• Supervise all direct reports and provide individuals the guidance required for them to reach both their corporate and personal goals.
• Serve & assist customers and service department in a very professional manner, keeping their needs in mind and also serve the company’s best interests.
• Maintains excellent customer relations.
• Contact existing and potential customers for the purpose of marketing parts & supplies.
• Purchase all parts & supplies not in stock and review/approve all stock orders and inventory invoices for payment.
• Manage parts cores.
• Responsible for all shipping and receiving of parts & supplies. All orders should be binned promptly and accurately and be kept clean and orderly.
• Review, process, and understand regularly scheduled reports that affect inventory and departmental needs.
• Complete weekly inventory counts and reconcile any differences. Control inactive and obsolete inventory through discounts and returns.
• Optimize freight charges and emergency/rush order charges, while giving good customer support.
• File parts & supply claims with the manufacturer.
• Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
• Attain short and long term objectives with good management/planning.
• Monitor performance standards and measurements.
• Maintain management’s guidelines on availability and gross profit.
• Enforce all policies and procedures as specified in the company manuals.
• Always operate in and maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules and wear required safety PPE.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good computer and systems knowledge
• Working knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies
• Experience with construction or ag equipment preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical
• Valid driver's license in good standing is preferred

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and around fumes & loud noise.
• Physically able to operate construction equipment and forklifts.
• Physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines including a computer, printer, facsimile machine, copy machine, calculator, telephone, etc. on a repetitive basis.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and lift.
