Salary: $72,000 - $96,000 per year (Base salary + performance bonus)
Job Highlights:

Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and other applicable software.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BSc) from a four-year college or university.
- 7–10+ years of experience in automotive parts management or a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of managing complex sales relationships in a technical environment.
- Excellent conflict resolution and collaboration skills, with the ability to pivot and solve problems quickly.
- Skilled at gathering and analyzing information efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Operations Management: Oversee the parts inventory, ensuring appropriate stock levels, proper pricing, and maximum turnover. Manage purchasing procedures, inventory control, and security to meet customer requirements.
- Team Leadership & Staff Management: Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of parts department staff. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure all team members are aligned with departmental objectives.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Forecast departmental goals and objectives, and prepare/administer the annual operating budget for the parts department.
- Customer Satisfaction & Sales Development: Develop and implement customer loyalty strategies, pricing strategies for different customer categories, and sales promotions. Monitor and analyze monthly sales, expenses, and inventory to maintain profit goals.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor inventory levels to minimize obsolescence, supervise stock ordering, and ensure proper tagging and counting of parts. Ensure a smooth flow of paperwork and shipping/receiving operations.
- Quality Control: Ensure all parts are of high quality and meet customer satisfaction standards. Resolve customer complaints promptly and in alignment with company guidelines.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety requirements, including forklift training, processing of MSDS sheets, and OSHA compliance. Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations that may impact parts sales.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor guidelines for customer relationships, including an online sales program.
- Analyze and adjust departmental operations and storage layout for maximum efficiency.
- Assist with collections of past-due accounts and ensure accurate accounting for all purchases.
- Oversee the wholesale parts program to ensure profitability.
