- Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Control account receivable to ensure timely payment and minimize bad debts.
- Work closely with the service manager and body shop manager to coordinate operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain the company's fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order and meet all safety requirements.
- Direct shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely delivery of parts and minimizing stock shortages.
- Work closely with wholesale customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of automotive parts and establish pricing structures for these parts.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the Automotive Engineering industry.
- Proven ability to direct and schedule employees and manage a team.
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting and managing inventory.
- Strong understanding of pricing structures and profit margins.
- Experience in preparing and managing budgets.
- Ability to establish and control account receivable.
- Proven experience in working closely with service managers and body shop managers.
- Experience in managing delivery vehicles and directing shipping and receiving operations.
- Strong customer service skills and experience working with wholesale customers.
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining inventory and pricing for automotive parts.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
