Job Summary: This position is responsible for inspecting, processing, and performing inventory functions involved with the Parts Exchange and CAT Remanufacture Programs. This position is the initial contact for internal and external customers. Additional duties include coordinating and preparing customer repair quotes, reviewing, and inspecting remanufactured cores in accordance with CAT specifications, open exchange rebuild work orders, processing warranty work orders, and assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations.

Essential Functions:
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Inspects and cleans exchange program cores, prepares repair quotes, communicates, and coordinates with internal/external customers on repair status and initiates the rebuild process by opening an exchange rebuild workorder.
- Coordinates, analyzes, and maintains a companywide inventory of exchange components. Conducts periodic inventory audits.
- Provides consistent, accurate and timely coordination regarding the CAT Remanufacture Program that entails processing core credits for customers, review, and inspection of CAT remanufactured cores in accordance with CAT specifications and packaging and shipping cores to CAT remanufacturing locations.
- Maintains monthly work orders to determine warranty status for new and/or remanufactured parts and provide credits/charges in support of the Send-it-Back Program.
- Assists with the day-to-day warehouse operations as needed.
- Assumes turn in after-hour call out rotation to assist customers in after hour call out needs. To be measured by adherence to set schedule and call out report provided to management by the answering service, and customer feedback.
- Works overtime as required by workload and customers’ needs to include on call rotation.
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Coordinates and performs activities involved with the Machine Divisions Parts Exchange and CAT Parts Remanufacture programs.
- Operation and control skills of equipment or systems
- Equipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a
job - Ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical
repair including an overhead crane - Ability to operate a conventional forklift
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact
positions - Ability to be self-starting and self-motivated
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Up to two years of experience
Travel:
- Up to 10% travel may be required & may require overnight stays
