Job Summary:
The Parts Inventory Manager at Renn Kirby Auto Group is a full-time position in the automotive industry based in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This management role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts inventory, including purchasing, stocking, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in parts inventory management and possess strong organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the parts inventory management, including purchasing, stocking, and distribution
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate and efficient inventory tracking
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels and make purchasing decisions based on customer demand and historical data
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and terms for parts purchases
- Train and supervise staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of parts orders and inventory management
- Work closely with the service and sales departments to ensure timely and accurate sourcing and delivery of parts
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized parts storage area
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to make informed decisions on purchasing and stocking
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in parts inventory management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented and able to analyze and interpret data
- Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
