Parts Delivery Driver - Mark Miller

Job Description

The Parts Delivery Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area. He/she transports products from local parts sources and delivers them to our dealership and ensures that the Parts delivery truck(s) are maintained in a safe and operable condition. Most importantly and without exception, the Delivery Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times and provides outstanding customer service and represents the Dealership in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles. Strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and on-time delivery of parts to the dealership using company vehicles and following all company procedures and standards
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
• Maintains cleanliness and ensures safe operation of vehicles
• Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road
• Collects any payments required upon delivery
• Loads Parts trucks in such a way as to prevent damage to parts being transported, securing all items in the bed of the truck
• Retrieved parts returns and reportd them to Parts Manager or responsible Counter Person
• Performs other duties as required by management

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience preferred
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
• Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Must provide professional service to all vendors and customers
