Our client, a Prestigious Medium Sized CPA Firm located in Southern Maine, is seeking a Tax Manager/Senior Manager to join their team. This individual will work independently and with other managers and Partners within the firm to maintain the existing client base and provide training and development to staff members. The Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for an assigned group of clients in various industries and delivery of a full range of services.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a full spectrum of tax services including planning, research and compliance
• Prepare and/or review tax returns for corporations, flow-through entities and individuals
• Consult on a variety of tax issues and carry out the related research
• Proactively interact with key client management to make business and tax recommendations
• Supervise, train/develop and assess the performance of tax accountants
• Perform other accounting and tax compliance related tasks as assigned
• Be actively involved in all aspects of marketing the firm
• Assume an active role in sales calls, fee quotes, proposal preparation and presentations
