The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in litigation, first chair, discovery, trial experience. Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partner to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in litigation, first chair, discovery, trial experience. As a Partner, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex litigation matters, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-stakes, complex litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Build and maintain a book of business
- Develop and implement case strategies
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in court and at mediations and arbitrations
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients
- Mentor and train junior attorneys
- Participate in business development activities to grow the firm's client base
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school & active license to practice in Massachusetts
- 8+ years of experience in litigation, first chair, discovery, trial experience, and a book of business preferred
- Will be leading a team, so must have proven management experience and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proven track record of success in business development
- Ability to mentor and train junior attorneys
