A law firm seeks an experienced Partner to lead legal matters, uphold firm values, and contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented culture. The role requires a proven track record of representing clients in complex legal matters, mentoring team members, and driving the firm's mission and vision forward.
Duties
- Deliver proactive, high-quality legal counsel and representation to clients.
- Generate ethical revenue by identifying and addressing client legal needs through strategic guidance.
- Foster client relationships through exceptional communication, in-person meetings, and regular updates.
- Represent the firm as a brand ambassador by engaging in networking and community-building activities.
- Uphold and enhance the firm's reputation by demonstrating high standards of professionalism, ethics, and legal expertise.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to associates, senior counsel, and paralegals to support team development.
- Supervise and delegate legal work effectively to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with the firm's timekeeping policies and meet annual billable requirements.
- Support firm marketing initiatives and actively contribute to business development efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant legal experience in the firm's core practice areas.
- Proven success in client management, with at least 5 years of experience handling client relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; experience with Filevine or other document management systems preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to upholding legal and ethical compliance standards.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
