Responsibilities:
As a Partner (Attorney), you will be expected to:
1. Handle all aspects of litigation, including trial, with a focus on employment defense, wage & hour, discrimination, and whistleblower cases.
2. Serve as 1st chair litigator in trials, confidently leading the team and representing our clients' interests.
3. Develop and implement innovative and effective legal strategies to achieve optimal results for our clients.
4. Provide sound legal advice to clients on complex legal matters, ensuring that their rights are protected and their interests are represented.
5. Collaborate with other members of the firm to drive the success of the firm and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
6. Play a key role in business development activities, including client presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
7. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact our clients and the firm.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Partner (Attorney) position should have:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on defense employment, wage & hour, discrimination, and whistleblower cases.
3. Proven trial experience, preferably as a 1st chair litigator.
4. Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calm.
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong business development skills, with a proven ability to attract and retain clients.
8. Admitted to the bar in the state of California
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
