Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage asbestos defense litigation cases from inception through resolution.
- Develop and implement case strategies to effectively defend clients against asbestos-related claims.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on asbestos and toxic tort law.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court as necessary.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and legal developments related to asbestos litigation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in asbestos defense and toxic tort litigation.
- Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases with successful outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
