Part-Time Youth and ECE Sports Instructor - Amazing Athletes

Amazing Athletes introduces children to the fundamentals of 10+ sports, helping them master key areas of motor development and physical literacy. We help set kids on a path to an active and healthy lifestyle by teaching them the basics of sports, health, and nutrition. By introducing kids to a variety of sports and physical activities, we give them an opportunity to discover and explore to find what they most enjoy and can pursue as they grow.

Requirements

*Job Description*

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Youth and ECE Sports Instructors. This part-time position offers variable hours, with an immediate need for after-school soccer and multi-sport coaches from 2-4pm. Other available times vary, and can include mornings (8am-1pm), afternoons (2-4pm), and evenings (5-7pm). Our classes can operate in daycares/preschools, elementary schools, parks, etc.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Conduct engaging and fun sports classes for children.
• Help children develop impactful life-skills through sports.
• Improvise and adapt lessons based on each class’s ability and energy.
• Take ownership of classes and approach them with a business mindset.
• Provide a best-in-class experience for kids and families.
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all participants.
• Monitor and assess participants' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Ensure all equipment is set up and maintained properly for each session.

*Qualifications*

• Passion for working with children and helping them grow.
• Experience in early childhood education or youth sports is preferred.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of all ages
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred.
• Ability to be playful and silly with kids while maintaining professionalism.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of all ages.
• Previous experience in coaching or instructing sports activities is beneficial.

• Starting pay: $18 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and skills.
