We are expanding our reach through engaging video content, and we are looking for a talented video/photographer to join our team part-time and help us create high-quality educational videos.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and creative part-time video/photographer to manage the production of educational videos for our academy. The ideal candidate has experience with cameras, lighting, and sound, and can work with or without their own gear. This role will involve setting up a basic studio for video shoots, managing the video production process, and overseeing post-production editing (either performing it themselves or managing a freelancer).
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of video shoots, including camera operation, lighting, sound, and setting up the shooting environment.
- Studio Setup: Assist in creating a small, efficient studio for shooting educational content.
- Shooting Videos: Capture high-quality video content in line with our educational goals and vision.
- Editing: Either edit videos yourself or manage the post-production process by working with a freelance editor.
- Creative Direction: Provide input on video formats, angles, lighting, and content to ensure the final product aligns with our brand and objectives.
- Equipment: Manage equipment, whether you bring your own or work with company-provided gear.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video production and photography.
- Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting setups, and sound equipment.
- Ability to direct and manage video shoots efficiently.
- Familiar with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Ability to work independently and solve technical issues during shoots.
- Creative mindset and an eye for detail in video composition and lighting.
- Bonus: Experience in educational video production.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience setting up video studios or home studios.
- Familiarity with managing freelancers for video editing and post-production tasks.
- Understanding of educational content production and working with teachers or instructors.
Equipment:
- You can bring your own camera and gear, or we can provide the necessary equipment.
- Must be able to manage any technical needs related to lighting, sound, and camera work during the shoot.
