Good Works Talent is conducting a search for a highly motivated and technically skilled Tax Accountant at the Senior or Manager level to join our Wichita, KS based client for the upcoming busy season and beyond.

What You'll Need:

• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential with recent public accounting experience.
• Growing expertise in AppFolio, CCH ATX, Intuit QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office. (Be ready to demonstrate your savvy Excel skills!)
• Highly organized, intuitive, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work environment.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Assist with onboarding tax clients and establishing regular workflows.
• Manage the workflow of assigned clients.
• Meet with clients to gather information and review completed returns.
• Prepare Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 990 tax returns.
• Review completed returns for accuracy and finalization.
• Consult with clients on tax compliance and planning projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client tax-related problems, including communication with government agencies.
• Assist with the continued development of company processes and workflows.
• Perform other duties as needed.
