Position Overview:
Dallas Athletic Club, a premier private country club in Dallas, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Red Ball Junior Teaching Professional/Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about developing young tennis players and creating a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will work evenings and weekends, contributing to the growth and success of our junior tennis program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Red Ball classes using the USTA curriculum, focusing on foundational skills and fun.
- Organize and maintain communication groups with parents to ensure consistent updates and feedback.
- Plan and coordinate Red Ball group lessons for junior players.
- Assist the Junior Director with Red Ball classes as needed.
- Collaborate with the Junior Director on weekly class planning and curriculum adjustments.
- Support the Junior Director in planning and executing Red Ball events, fostering engagement and enthusiasm among participants.
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching tennis, particularly to juniors, with knowledge of the Red Ball format.
- Familiarity with the USTA curriculum is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, especially when working with parents and young players.
- Passionate about youth development and creating an enjoyable, inclusive environment.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.
