Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for assigned Herschend properties ensuring that employees are paid properly and timely.
- Ensure hours worked are approved and reported properly for Herschend properties.
- Ensure information related to payroll deductions and other pay is entered accurately.
- Process bi-weekly off cycle interims as necessary for assigned properties.
- Handle employee garnishments and earnings verifications in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with legal requirements and Company policy.
- Process all payroll related information in compliance with federal, state and local laws and company policy.
- Balance customer service to employees and property management with efficiency of operation.
- Work with and through others to obtain compliance with payroll timelines and procedures.
- Ensure payroll records are retained in an efficient organized manner in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies.
- Maintain complete confidentiality of employee information.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Experience
- 2 years of payroll experience using computerized payroll systems
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience with UKG Pro Preferred
- Experience with labor reporting systems (KRONOS) preferred
