This position is part-time (20 hours/week) Monday – Friday during normal business hours.Our office is located at 2 South Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO.

We offer 2-3 weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answer 80+ incoming phone calls per day from customers and identify the type of assistance the customer needs

• Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems

• Contact care providers (doctor’s offices) on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists for assistance when needed

• Research complex issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve customer issues and/or partner with others to resolve escalated issues

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• 6+months experience working in a call center environment

• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications

• Ability to type 30+ WPM

• Reside within a Commutable distance to 2 South Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work part-time (20 hours/week) Monday – Friday during normal business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior health care experience

• 1+ years of call center experience 

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment using phones and computers as the primary job tools

• Proficient in translating health care-related jargon and complex processes into simple, step-by-step instructions customers can understand and act upon

• Working knowledge of electronic medical records software applications

Soft Skills:

• Ability to navigate multiple applications using 1+ computer monitors

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $16.00 - $27.31 per hour.
