Position Overview: Dalcom Engineering is looking for a part-time (approx. 10-15 hrs./week) Office Administrative Assistant for their location in Galena, MD. The administrative assistant will support office operations in order to ensure organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports company operations by maintaining office systems, assisting staff, and ensuring compliance with required federal programs.
• Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and supplies procurement.
• Manages incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, mail and packages.
• Keeps management and other office personnel informed by maintaining and submitting regular reports.
• Regular communication with management and members of office personnel at other locations over contract-related matters.
• Supports employee onboarding, timekeeping, and other HR-related activities.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing administrative and other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years administrative experience in an office setting.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Reporting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per month
