Position Summary:
Our Behavioral Health Department employs community-driven and skilled clinicians to provide integrated care in our Health Centers. We are seeking a Part-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. As key mental health professionals, the LCSW provides clinical assessments and psychotherapy in our Adult Behavioral Health Divisions. This will be based in our flagship El Nuevo San Juan Community Health Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work required.
- NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities.
- 2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.
- Candidate must ideally possess previous experience working with substance abuse disorder populations.
Key Duties:
- Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
- Conducts individual psychotherapy.
- Crisis intervention.
- Provides consultation to medical providers.
- Participates in clinical team meetings.
Starting Compensation:
Minimum $55.00 per hour; Maximum $55.00 per hour
