We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Claims Administrator to join our claims management team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of homeowner claims from initiation to resolution. The successful candidate will utilize a comprehensive "how-to" instruction manual to guide them through the entire claims process, from opening and administering claims to closing them.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Claims Intake and Initial Processing:
- Receive and review homeowner claims submitted via email.
- Enter relevant claim data into the claim management system.
- Acknowledge receipt of the claim by sending a templated email to the sender.
2. Request for Information:
- Create calendar notes for sending out requests for information letters.
- Identify missing information in claims and customize template letters accordingly.
- Send customized request letters in form emails.
3. Claims Management:
- Monitor incoming emails for additional claim information.
- Update the claim file with new information, including notes from discussions with adjusters, homeowners, etc.
- Ensure all claim files are complete and up-to-date.
4. Final Steps and Inspection:
- Send requests for the product related to the claim once all information is gathered.
- Coordinate with engineering to inspect the product upon arrival.
- Work with the engineering team to determine liability.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and templates.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
