Select Physical Therapy is currently seeking a Part Time Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in Los Angeles, CA
ATC will serve as a “go to” for assessment and care of work and non-work related issues, safety, general wellness, strengthening and conditioning, reconditioning, ergonomics, biomechanical review and recommendations, psychological referral, etc. *This role also requires background clearance and badging from the Department of Homeland Security due to the location of our onsite clinic at LAX.
FT staff of 7 Certified Athletic Trainers with additional PRN Athletic Trainers. Center operates 7 days/wk. Operates as a half fitness, half OSHA First Aid location for all employees of the airline. Experience working with diverse/adult populations preferred. Spanish speaking a plus. Experience with strengthening and conditioning, customer service, and/or ergonomics also a plus. Compensation: Commensurate with experience, starting at $31-$34/hr
Schedule: 7AM-9PM (8hr. shift within those hrs of operation), 24 hrs/wk

Responsibilities:- On-site coverage for industrial client under the direction of Account/Program Manager
- Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include:
- Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
- Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
- Design and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise and stretching
- Job coaching and behavior modification both one-on-one and in group settings
- Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
- Office ergonomics
- Health and wellness consultation
- Documentation and reporting on employee encounters
- Regular communication with both client and Select leadership
- BS Degree REQUIRED
- Minimum one year experience, industrial setting experience a plus
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Position requires a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
