Part-Time Groundskeeper/Maintenance - West Coast Self-Storage

West Coast Self-Storage Group has a part-time opening in Shelton, WA for a Groundskeeper. The ideal candidate will have experience in general handyman/maintenance and groundskeeping and be eager to advance within our career path.

******* Schedule Mon-Fri 10am-2pm = 20 hours weekly **************

What you will bring:

Groundskeeper/Maintenance will be responsible for the upkeep and appearance of all outdoor areas of multiple properties by performing various landscaping and maintenance duties to keep our properties functional, clean and free from debris. This is an outdoor and labor-intensive job.

Day to Day for you:

• Maintain property to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., repairing or cleaning signage, pressure washing, cleaning gutters/roof areas, interior and exterior painting, maintain sidewalks, stairwells, and parking lot areas, remove snow from walkways and apply salt
• Perform repairs e.g., drywall, plywood
• Perform landscaping duties e.g., mowing, weeding, raking, pruning trees/bushes, backpack blowing, herbicide application

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
• Grounds keeping or maintenance experience (required)
• Experience with utilizing hand and power tools (preferred)
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in urban and rural environments
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives
