Overview
As an Email & Social Marketing Manager, you will act as a hands-on leader within our global Performance Marketing team. Driving best practices around Marketo email programs and social media marketing, you will plan and execute marketing programs in these channels to drive growth, engagement and revenue. You will be a crucial marketing team leader with responsibility for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to drive growth and achieve measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Email Management:
- With more focus on in-channel Marketo execution than writing, develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with company goals
- Plan and execute various email campaigns
- Increase channel and conversion metrics by researching and implementing best practices around audience segmentation, subject line and message optimization and send practices.
- Social Media Management:
- With focus on social media agency oversight, manage the company’s social media accounts to drive growth, engagement and conversion
- Track details for print and digital media buys, including due dates, specs, invoicing, submissions, and deadlines
- Recommend placements based on editorial calendars
- Event Management:
- Work with thought leadership team to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of thought leadership events
- Work with thought leadership team to announce events, new materials, and reprints both internally and externally through a variety of channels, including email and social media.
- Brand Management Support:
- Assist team to ensure brand guidelines are met and maintained in all internal and market-facing materials.
- Website:
- Update company website with event information, landing pages associated with email and social campaigns, thought leadership materials, etc.
- Database Management:
- Manage contacts and marketing lists, and pull reports within CRM system (Salesforce)
- Metric Management:
- Assist in the tracking and analysis of marketing initiative metrics, preparing reports for sales and marketing teams
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Marketo email channel execution and journey orchestration
- B2B marketing experience
- Detail oriented, organized and a master multi-tasker
- Strong written and communication skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to derive actionable insights
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, especially during key seasonal periods
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in related roles.
