About the Job
Under the leadership of the Community Services Director, the part-time Community Services Facility Coordinator performs a variety of indoor maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness of Community Services facilities and is responsible for setting up Community Services room reservation layouts.
Days, Hours & Additional Employment Details:
The Community Services Facility Coordinator is a part-time position, working 28 hours a week, with a varying schedule each week based on the Community Services room reservation schedule.
There will be weeks periodically throughout the year where working days, evenings, weekends and holidays are required that may result in an adjusted schedule and/or compensatory or overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of Community Services facilities, including, but not limited to cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, repairing, setting up/breaking down of equipment, trash disposal, etc.
- Ensure all room reservation layouts are set-up and torn down (e.g., tables, chairs, food and beverage stations, etc.) for various Community Services programs, activities, events and services
- Make minor repairs to Community Services equipment and facilities as needed
- Submit building work orders to Tech Services as needed or requested
- Open and close Community Services facilities as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Required)
- Associates Degree or Trade School (Preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of maintenance or custodial experience (Required)
- Working knowledge of facilities, including maintenance requirements, technical specifications and supply/equipment needs (Preferred)
Physical Demands:
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to work in the office; remote work will not be an option unless special circumstances or accommodations are made.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and be able to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
