Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist with data analyses and preparation of manuscripts describing research findings.
+ Obtain study subject's medical history and current medication information, reviews research protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria, and confirms eligibility of subject to participate in clinical trial.
+ Perform informed consent process or ensures that the informed consent process has occurred, is properly documented, and that informed consent form documents are filed as required.
+ Interview prospective subjects for a variety of research clinical trials. Educate potential subjects on the details of the studies through phone contacts and personal interviews.
+ Maintain detailed records of studies to ensure compliance with requirements of study protocols, department, hospital/clinical standard operating procedures, and other regulatory guidelines.

Entry Level:
+ Bachelor's degree in any field.
Intermediate Level:
+ Bachelor's degree in any field.
+ One (1) year clinical research or related experience.
+ A master's degree in a directly related field from an accredited institution may be substituted for up to two (2) years of experience.
Senior Level:
+ Bachelor's degree in any field.
+ Two (2) years clinical research or related experience.
+ A master's degree in a directly related field from an accredited institution may be substituted for up to two (2) years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in science or health related field.
+ Three (3) years of clinical research or related experience.
+ Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g. EMR or EHR and data management systems).
+ Experience with data analysis and/or programming (eg MATLAB, R, Python).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
+ Outstanding customer service skills.

Exciting cutting-edge clinical research opportunity! In this part-time, 0.5 FTE, hybrid position, join our growing team focusing on brain-based treatments for chronic pain. Ongoing research studies include randomized controlled trials of pain reprocessing therapy, brain imaging (functional MRI) studies of acute and chronic pain, studies on the effects of cannabis on brain processing of pain, with aims to extend research into psychedelic-assisted therapies for chronic pain.This is an open rank recruitment, meaning a new hire could be hired at either the entry, intermediate or senior level depending on qualifications and appropriateness of position fit. Hires at the intermediate and senior levels operate with greater independence than the entry level professional.
- This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. Depending on the candidate's years of experience and proficiency in work duties, fewer days on campus will be considered.
