Location: Oakland Township, MI - Oakland County
Schedule: Afternoons & Evenings
Compensation: $15.20 - $17.20 per hour, depending on the case assigned
Position Overview

ExpertCare is looking for a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support children with disabilities in their homes and local community. This role involves assisting with daily routines, guiding life skills development, and creating a nurturing, supportive environment.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to work in the client's home and nearby community spaces such as parks or libraries
• Reliable and committed to scheduled shifts
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred but not required
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Completion of online training and two in-person sessions in Troy, MI

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one compassionate support in the home
• Assist with daily hygiene routines and encourage independence
• Help with household tasks, teaching skills to build confidence
• Foster a positive environment to encourage personal growth and following directions
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to ExpertCare training
