Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Austin, Texas | Hourly Rate: $22 - $25/hour

We're seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do:

• Manage the full accounts receivable process, including preparing and sending invoices, applying payments, and managing collections.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries and disputes with a customer-friendly approach.
• Prepare weekly cash collection reports and support cash forecasting.
• Utilize accounting software (experience with Great Plains and DocLink is a plus) to ensure accurate financial records and reconciliations.
• Interface with clients of all sizes, from small businesses to large corporations and government entities, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

• 2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle "soft" collections and build positive relationships.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and a team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.
• Familiarity with general ledger entries and accounting principles is a plus.
• Experience with Great Plains, DocLink, or similar accounting systems is preferred but not required.
